Pet Bather

Olde Towne Pet Resort is a growing five star company seeking full time Pet Bathers at our Springfield location to help bathe and dry the dogs in our care. Our bathers have the following key responsibilities:

-Aiding pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and conditioning
-Ensuring the wellness and safety of your furry guests at all times
-Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting
-Assist team members during grooming & bathing downtime

Duties include:
-brushing, bathing, and drying pets
-trimming nails, expressing anal glands, plucking ears, etc.
-assisting groomers as needed
-receiving clients and their pets into the shop
-helping keep the shop clean and running smoothly

Successful candidates will be taught bathing procedures and breed standards. Experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate. Our ideal candidate is somebody who has a desire to work with animals, can pick up to 50 pounds unassisted, is a true team player, and can work weekends and holidays. Ability to work with cats is a plus.
